LEGAL NOTICE SHALER AREA SCHOOL DISTRICT BID ADVERTISEMENT On Monday, June 6, 2016, the Shaler Area School District will open sealed bids for the New Rogers Primary School, 705 Scott Avenue, Glenshaw, PA 15116. Bids will be received up to 2:00 P.M., to the attention of Sherri Ludwig, Board Secretary & Director of Business Affairs, Shaler Area School District, 1800 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw, PA 15116. It is the intent of the Owner to enter into separate contracts as follows: Contract No. 1 General Construction. Contract No. 2 Heating, Ventilating and Air- Conditioning Construction. Contract No. 3 Plumbing Construction. Contract No. 4 Electrical Construction. Contract No. 5 Food Service Equipment. Contract No. 6 Fire Protection. Contract No. 7 Tele/Data Cabling. Bids shall conform with Contract Documents prepared by HHSDR Architects/Engineers, 40 Shenango Ave., Sharon, PA, 16146, and 201 Century Building, 130 Seventh St., Pittsburgh, PA, 15222. Bidders may obtain same from HHSDR at their Sharon office (724) 981-8820, upon the following refundable deposits: $450.00 per set for Contract No.s 1 - 4. $150.00 per set for Contract No.s 5 - 7. Bids shall include a Bid Security Bond or Certified Check, payable to Shaler Area School District, in an amount of five percent (5%) of the bid, in accordance with Instructions to Bidders, as included in the Contract Documents. The Shaler Area School District reserves the right to waive irregularities and to accept or reject any or all bids, whichever is most advantageous to the Shaler Area School District.
